Police are appealing for witnesses after a street trader at the Saturday market in Lewes had her day’s takings and other valuables stolen.
The theft was reported on Saturday afternoon (January 17) while the trader’s white van was parked outside W E Clark & Sons between 1.20pm and 1.30pm.
The cash, bank cards, driving licence and other personal possessions were in an orange rucksack stolen from inside the van.
