St Michael’s Hospice is appealing for a volunteer to support the linen stall at its monthly Coffee Morning and Bazaar.
The hospice’s Hastings and St Leonards Support Group needs a volunteer to help sort and sell linen at its monthly Coffee Morning and Bazaar event.
The volunteer will be required to sort linen a few hours each week, at a time to suit, and set up the stall during the afternoon of the first Friday of the month. They will also be needed to man the stall at the coffee mornings, which are held on the first Saturday of each month. The role includes lifting and carrying sacks of clothing and linen. In addition, the volunteer will be required to help at two further sales during the year at clothes sales - usually in March and October. The Hastings and St Leonards Support Group are dedicated, loyal volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to put on fantastic events and raise much-needed funds for the hospice. The annual cost of running St Michael’s is £5 million.
