AN AWARD WINNING pre-school music group for children from three months to four years is opening in Lewes, Uckfield and Crowborough from this month.
Founded in London in 1993, Monkey Music nurtures a child’s natural love of music so that it will last a lifetime. It provides weekly music classes that aim to be entertaining and educational taught by specialist teachers who gently encourage social and musical skills within a fun, stimulating and friendly environment.
Classes are small and tailor-made. In 30 minute classes, teachers work with catchy music, percussion instruments and visual props giving children opportunities to experiment with instruments and make music of their own. More than 300 traditional and original songs, musical games and movement ideas are used throughout the curriculum with children grouped in small classes according to their age.
