Slimming World groups in Hastings, St Leonards and Little Common have donated more than £800 in spare change to St Michael’s Hospice.
In addition to the generous donation, slimmers donated clothing, toiletries, jewellery, chocolates and wine, which will be used in future raffles at the Hastings and St Leonards Support Group’s monthly coffee mornings.
The Hastings and St Leonards Support Group is a devoted team of volunteers who work tirelessly to raise thousands for the hospice every year by holding events such as their incredibly popular monthly coffee morning and bazaar.
Amanda Hildreth, community fundraiser at St Michael’s Hospice, said: “We are very grateful to Slimming World for its generosity.
“It has donated some fantastic raffle prizes, thank you.”
The hospice, which is based in Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards, would also like to congratulate the Slimming World groups on collectively losing 800lbs in the first five weeks of the year.
