Police in Seaford are warning anyone who uses the public car park at Tide Mills to be on their guard following the theft of a handbag from a secure car.
Between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday (April 12) a handbag and its contents were stolen from the back seat of a parked white Vauxhall Agila after the driver’s door window was broken.
Police are advising anybody who parks in this or similar beauty spot to always make sure that they never leave any valuables or bags in plain sight in their vehicles and make sure that their vehicles are properly secured.
