Motorists are being told to expect severe delays on the A22 and the A267.
The A267 to Horam is still blocked in both directions at Swansbrook Lane, Groggers Cross, because of a three-car crash earlier this afternoon (July 14).
Traffic is also very slow-moving on the A22 eastbound between the Broomham Lane junction in Whitesmith and the Boship Roundabout in Lower Dicker.
A cyclist was knocked off his bike at the Boship Roundabout earlier today but police have said this was a minor incident that was cleared very quickly.
Eyewitnesses travelling westbound along the A22 has said there are at least “four-mile delays” in the opposite direction.
