Police are appealing for witnesses after four bikes were stolen from a garage in Bishopstone Road, Seaford.
Officers were called at around 10.50am on Saturday, August 15 to a report that a residential outbuilding had been broken into sometime between 9pm on Sunday, August 9 and 10.30am that morning.
One of the bikes is described as a blue, Pashley Brittania women’s freestyle bike with old fashioned handlebars. It has six gears with a basket on the front and is believed to be worth about £1,000.
The second is a man’s Corrara mountain bike, which is blue with 16 gears. It’s worth around £250.
The other two bikes are both white, electric ‘Panda Sport’ bikes which are valued at around £850 each.
Sergeant Stuart Mullins said: “We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious between Sunday, August 9 and Saturday, August 15.
“If you can help please email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 0558 of 15/08.”
