East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to Lewes this afternoon (Friday, September 25) to reports of a ‘dangerous structure’.

One crew was mobilised to Lewes Town Hall, on Fisher Street, at 3.36pm after tiles began slipping from the building’s roof.

Firefighters used a ladder to check the roof was safe and the danger to pedestrians was managed.
