A woman woke in her bedroom to find a burglar in the room.
The incident happened at 4.10am last Friday (July 18) at her home in Sedlescombe Road North. She challenged him and he fled. At 12.50pm that day a woman living in Albany Road and who had gone to bed feeling unwell also woke to find a man in her room. On being seen he fled but stole jewellery. On July 15 at 11.30pm a woman living in Spring Street was disturbed by noises at her front door, as if someone was trying to break in. She saw a shadowy figure through the glass panel but the person then left.
