Organisers are making last-minute preparations for the upcoming annual companion dog show in Alexandra Park this Bank Holiday Monday (August 25).
The event, which is in its 12th year, sees dozens of dogs enter, both in the pedigree and non-pedigree classes.
Entries will start from 11.30am with judging for pedigree dogs taking place from 12.30pm.
Entry to the annual show, which is organised by Hastings, St Leonards and East Sussex Canine Society, is by the Dordrecht Way entrance to the park.
Novelty classes starting with the non-pedigree dog classes, from puppy to veteran, are from 1.15pm.
Many categories are available for owners to enter their dogs in both classes.
For novelty classes, such entries include best non-pedigree puppy, best non-pedigree dog, most handsome dog, most appealing eyes, best over 18 inches, best condition, junior handling, best movement and best rescue dog.
Rosettes for the best novelty in show and reserve best novelty in showwill be available and also will be awarded to 5th place in all classes.
Fees at the show are £1 per class per dog entered.
