The Easter Bunny Hop at St Michael’s Hospice has been hailed as ‘a huge success’ attracting dozens of children and raising hundreds of pounds for the charity.
Over 100 children bounced down to St Michael’s Hospice for the Easter Bunny Hop on Saturday March 28, and raised over £500.
Amanda Hildreth, Community Fundraiser at St Michael’s Hospice said rain didn’t stop play and eager children took part in an egg-citing carrot hunt in the Hospice gardens and sheltered in the Arthur Easton Centre for Easter badge making, adding: “Once the carrot hunt was completed, each child received an Easter Egg (kindly donated by Morrison’s, Hastings), bunny biscuits and drink.”
“The Easter Bunny Hop was a great success! The bunnies were not put out by the bad weather and definitely enjoyed their hop. Many thanks go to Pauline Crouch who organised the Bunny Hop and to everyone who turned up to take part.”
